Who We Are

About Ronnie and The Diamond Faces Team

Ronnie says “I began Face Painting in 1993 when I bought a set of Face Paints from Toys R Us and a book from the local fancy dress shop. I practised on all the local kids then volunteered at a few events including my sons’ school play and fetes. Keen to develop my skills and train properly I enrolled at my local college on an ITEC Theatrical and Media Make Up course.” Today Diamond Faces operates as a well established, reputable company currently comprising a team of 12 Face Painting Artists covering Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Ringwood, Blandford, Weymouth, Swanage, Bridport and all places in between… We offer:

We work in partnership with many local businesses and a number of local and national Entertainment Agencies. Diamond Faces is also recognised by our local authorities and College as an approved provider of Face Painting Tuition and Workshops.

“As a qualified instructor, teaching face painting is a part of my work that I love to do. I deliver training in-house for community groups, to the general public, as one-to-one private tuition and to local companies. Workshops for Fun are also very popular as Enrichment sessions for students, or an introduction to Face Painting. I also teach existing business owners and staff who work in Children’s Entertainment as a business add-on for their Customers and to businesses as part of team building packages”

About Ronnie

“The best thing about being a Face Painter I’d say is the moment you show a child their painted face in the mirror and because of their wonderful imaginations they Become the thing they see. For example, a little boy with a tiger face will roar at his own image and become totally transformed for the rest of the day. To see their joy is a privilege and the job satisfaction you get is immense. I’d say what makes this job the best is the variety of work and customers, how funny children can be, their requests and different locations that working in this industry offers. I enjoy managing a Team, developing people and coaching & mentoring individuals to grow their talent. I also enjoy coming up with fresh and novel ideas and developing new projects and working partnerships”
